So the idea to start a blog just came to me as I was sitting in silent meditation earlier this evening. It was kind of a whim but it seems that everyone has one so I thought, why not me? The main purpose is more of a catharsis for myself but maybe someone else might enjoy it as well. I have recently become addicted to reading a small select group of blogs and I am constantly irritated by the long intervals in posting. So, maybe I can quell some of that unrest with my own posts.
Let me give you a little background info, I'm sure you're dying to find out more about me. Well I'm currently a junior at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Never heard of it? Don't worry, you aren't offending me, most people haven't. It's a nice small town where the majority of College Life takes place on campus. It is known as the "Hendrix Bubble." aka we never leave campus. There isn't really any need to though, it's pretty self contained. But back to me, I am from Austin, Texas and I am really just trying to find out more about myself currently. I'll elaborate more on specific details but since this entire blog will be about me, it will be a constant discovery of who I am.
Let me give you the overview of what my vision is for this blog, it is supposed to be the hodge podge of my daily life as a college junior. I am really just trying to find out more about myself and I think a little or a lot of self reflection will help in the process. So bare with me, because I'll be figuring this blogging thing out as I go.
